What we collect, and why
Last updated 21 October 2026.
When you visit the site
We count visits so we can see which pages help and how people find us. For each visit we save the pages you open and the links and buttons you click. We also save how long each page is open and in use, and how far down you scroll. We note the website that sent you and any campaign tags in the link, like which ad it was. We also note your country, time zone and language, and whether you're on a phone, tablet or computer. A random code kept in your browser ties your visits together. It isn't a cookie, and it doesn't hold your name. We don't store your IP address. If you give us your email later, your earlier visits from that browser are linked to it.
When you take the diagnosis
We save your answers: the situation you picked, your choices, and anything you type into the written questions. With them we save a random code for that visit, the version of the site, and the name of the website that sent you, if any. We don't ask for your name, and your answers aren't linked to you unless you give us your email.
If you ask for your result by email
We save your email address, which result you got, whether you asked to hear when the product for your situation is ready, and when you agreed. We send one email first to check the address is yours. Nothing else is sent until you confirm.
What we use it for
To send you what you asked for, and to see which situations are most common so we know what to build. Visits show us which pages and links bring people here. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers, and the site doesn't use advertising trackers or cookies.
Where it's kept
Visits, answers and email addresses are stored with Supabase (in the United States). Emails are sent through Resend. Our web server keeps standard access logs.
How long we keep it
Answers and visit records are kept while they help us improve the diagnosis and the site. Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe. After that we keep it only on a do-not-email list, so you're never emailed again.
Your choices
Every result email has an unsubscribe link. To see or delete what we hold about you, email privacy@themoveahead.com.
